Chelsea Physic Garden Christmas Fair

The picturesque grounds were once used to grow medicinal plants but now host exotic flora from around the globe.

The Christmas fair is full of knick-knacks and festive food. A unique opportunity to explore the gardens that are usually closed to the public during winter this is the first year the fair has been held over two days.

Buying a ticket on the Saturday allows you to visit again on the Sunday for free. Founded in 1673 by the wonderfully named Worshipful Society of Apothecaries the gardens continue to house some of the most exotic plants in London.

A must for those looking for the perfect present for green-fingered relatives.
