The odious R&B star sustained a gash on his chin after his entourage allegedly clashed with Drake’s crew in a nightclub brawl in New York, TMZ reported.
Brown tweeted a photo of his injury with the message: “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!.”
The post has since been removed.
The rumour mill suggests Brown and Drake clashed over the former’s ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. Drake is rumoured to have hooked up with the raunchy songstress.
TMZ reported that no critical injuries were sustained in the scrap – “just bumps, bruises and lacerations”.
Police arrived at the scene after a call was received between 4 and 5am. Neither Brown nor Drake were present when the cops arrived, TMZ reported, and no arrests were made.
Maybe Drake’s heavies need to punch a bit harder next time? Not that we’d ever encourage such behaviour, of course.
