The 31-year-old ended up in court after his unsuccessful attempt to raid the kids’ lunchboxes.

As reported on the London24 website, Audrius Tamulionis represented himself as he claimed that he didn’t have the time to find a solicitor, and spoke through an interpreter.

He claimed that he ‘didn’t know what he was doing’ and admitted that he had been ‘desperate for food’.

He is banned from applying for travel documents or leaving the UK, and has been granted conditional bail. He will be sentenced at a later date.
