I have a patio in my back garden with a water-but that has fallen into a state of disrepair recently, whilst with “The Natural World” concept inside my head I noticed it had a rather a lot of thick white webbing drooping from one side of the but to a nearby plant. I simply waited until something crawled onto the web, which happened to be a small spider – and this vile yet intriguingly large garden spider shot out from its little hiding place and began to attack. Quickly I zoomed my camera into a macro shot and began shooting. I think it turned out rather well.

TNT Editorial Team
The TNT Magazine editorial team is an eclectic mix of travel nerds, city obsessives and people who've spent too long writing about nightclubs. Covering the UK, London, travel and culture with the same outsider perspective the magazine was founded on in 1983.
Live life and travel. It's been TNT's mantra for over 40 years, and it's still what we're all about. Getting the most out of where you are, making the most of where you're going, and helping readers navigate the practicalities of working, living, finding adventure and having a blast along the way. Fiercely independent, globally trusted and occasionally a bit opinionated. Politically agnostic, never biased or influenced, just great content without a rose-tinted view or hidden agenda.
