Londoners’ perceptions of the Vienna will be literally turned on their side on October 25-26, when the Vienna Tourist Board builds the biggest structure ever erected in Trafalgar Square.

To help Londoners see “Vienna from a different angle”, the Vienna Tourist Board is building a 21m high wall for a vertical show and public challenge.

The acrobatics show will play on the wall in front of Nelson’s Column four times daily, at 1pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm and 7pm.

Mixing art, sound, lights and adventurous aerial displays, the show takes inspiration from Vienna’s modern music scene, Imperial heritage, iconic artist Gustav Kilmt, indulgent food and wine scene, and the Viennese waltz.

In between shows, there is also a chance for the public to take a horizontal stroll down the wall – face first! – defying gravity with a specially developed climbing harnesses.

The free event runs from 12:30pm to 8:30pm on October 25 and 26.
