Jennifer Lopez broke down in tears on stage while performing on Saturday to a crowd of over 10,000 fans.
Lopez, who recently split from husband Marc Anthony, began to cry while singing the lyrics of a song about her past loves.
“I’m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love,” Lopez told her audience at the Mohegan Sun Casino’s 15th anniversary celebration in Connecticut. “A lot has changed since then.”
Lopez, 42, began to sing “Until It Beats No More” while back-up dancers enacted scenes of the singer and her past relationships, including exes Diddy, Chris Judd and Ben Afleck.
The final couple on stage during the song resembled Lopez and her estranged husband Anthony as they appeared in an American Idol performance in May.
After she finished the song, Lopez confessed to the crowd “I took a trip down memory lane” and proceeded to cry in front of her applauding audience.
Lopez then pointed to a photo of her twins with Anthony, Max and Emme, 3 ½, that flashed above the stage: “There’s love — and then there’s love.”
Lopez’s life is not as loveless as her performance would suggest: she is reportedly dating Hollywood star Bradley Cooper.
