Overview All the shops, cafes and ice-cream counters you could ask for are on your doorstep.
Tempting as it might be to ask for a room overlooking the square, don’t – you’ll regret it when groups of revellers gather below your window at 3am. The hostel has free wifi in the lobby and we found the staff to be helpful and easy-going.
Wow factor The large rooftop terrace with funky tables and comfy chairs is perfect for getting to know your fellow guests.
Bring beers from the local off-licence and sip them while looking out over the stunning Zion Square. It’s also a perfect spot for eating brekkie or lunch.
Rooms Very basic, with ramshackle bathrooms that could do with some new tiles.
Ours was clean and comfortable, though, and you’d struggle to find anything much cheaper in the west of the city.
Bill, please Dorm room £13pppn, single £37pppn and double £42.50pn.
