Fresh off the release of an avant-garde-ish nude video that left the internet a tad confused, Gaga made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday screaming: “I’M HEADLINING ITUNES FESTIVAL ON SEPT 1 AT ROUNDHOUSE IN LONDON. ONE HOUR OF ALL NEW MUSIC. #UKMonstersGetReady”
ARTPOP will be officially released in November but pre-sales started on iTunes on Tuesday, with ARTPOP already the No.1 album on iTunes Australian chart three months before release.
The first single Applause was rush-released on Tuesday after concerns that the song had leaked on the internet.
London’s iTunes Festival 2013 is a month-long extravaganza in September.
Other artists to perform include: The Lumineers, Queens of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Elton John, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Pixies, Tinie Tempa, John Legend, Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake.
Not a terrible line-up.
