Shops in Southfields
Southfields has a small village-like feel, so there are no big supermarkets but rather greengrocers, butcher, delis, and off-licences. To do a bigger shop or find clothes, you’ll need to head elsewhere.
Southside shopping mall, Wandsworth
Less than 15 mins on the 39 bus. Most the big brands are there, plus cinemas, fast food chains and supermarkets.
Wimbledon
10 mins on the District line with high street stores, shopping centres and chain supermarkets.
Wimbledon Village
5 mins on the 493, more boutique buys and speciality shops.
Food and drink
The area doesn’t have a humming nightlife, but what food and drink venues are there, are on the most part good.
Thai Girder
A small Thai restaurant that offers good-value and reliably good food.
Olive Garden
Informal Italian restaurant, popular for its pizza and pasta.
The Garage and The Grid
Two pubs located next to each other, the former popular with a more younger crowd, the latter an old-fashioned boozer.
The Earl Spencer
Well-known gastropub serving up a daily menu of local fare. It’s really busy on weekends.
