An actual public health warning has been released, in western Serbia, against vampires on the loose.
No it’s not a prank or a belated Halloween story, the sudden concern from authorities is due to the fact that a local mill has collapsed, which was home to the nation’s most well-known vampire.
Fables claim that Sava Savanovic lived on the Rogacica river in Zarozje village, where the mill was.
It’s believed that Savanovic would drink the blood of anybody that came near the mill.
The local mayor Miodrag Vujetic explained: “People are worried, everybody knows the legend of this vampire and the thought that he is now homeless and looking for somewhere else and possibly other victims is terrifying people. We are all frightened.”
