London’s Irish music festival – London Feis – has confirmed more acts adding to a bill that already includes a UK exclusive appearance by Bob Dylan.
Main acts at Feis, which takes place in Finsbury Park, London, on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June 2011, include Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Christy Moore with Declan Sinnott, The Cranberries, The Gaslight Anthem, Imelda May, The Waterboys, The Undertones and Thin Lizzy.
Today it was announced that Brian Kennedy, The Irish Tenors, Treetop Flyers, Brigid Power-Ryce, The Lost Brothers, O Emperor and Kieran Leonard have been added to the Saturday bill.
London Feis will see an exclusive UK performance by Bob Dylan on Saturday and Van Morrison will be headlining the Sunday. There is also an exclusive appearance from the newly reformed Irish pop-rock band The Cranberries.
Vince Power, founder of the Mean Fiddler Group, Hop Farm Music Festival and operator of Benicassim Festival, was responsible for 13 Fleadh festivals at Finsbury Park, which was a staple on the London music calendar from 1990 until 2004.
London Feis will continue where the Fleadh left off, bringing Irish music to the UK festival circuit.
