The French heritage in Montreal has given the city with a gastronomic scene par excellence. You can dine on ultra-funky modern cuisine, or classical French food, or a fusion of the two. The best thing is you don’t have to pay a fortune – as you would in, say, Paris, to try fantastic, French-inspired cooking.
Drink
Ice wines come from Ontario province, but are readily available in Montreal, and are well worth a try. Ice wines are a delicious, sweet, dessert wine made from grapes that freeze on the vine in the winter.
