Starring Bret McKenzie of worldwide hit HBO music comedy Flight of the Conchords and Australian stand up comedian and actor Hamish Blake, the film has recently been screened at the Berlin Film Festival.

A grisly black comedy, it follows the misadventures of a pair of best mates as they deal with the horrifying prospect of covering up an accidental murder, or as the official description puts it ‘an unfortunate incident involving a hot meat pie, a ginger cat and the untimely death of a Scandinavian soccer star.’

The film, directed by Robert Sarkies and based on the novel by his brother Duncan also boasts ‘bogans and penguins and toasted sandwiches’. It takes its name from the famous classic Rolf Harris song.

The film has an official release date of September in New Zealand – but a UK release and distributor has yet to be confirmed.
