How did you get into your line of work?

I studied textile design at Central Saint Martins and went straight into a design studio after university. A year or so creating someone else’s designs was the perfect incentive to get my own out there.

What do you do day-to-day?

I’m starting to design the next season while chasing up all orders placed in March during Paris Fashion Week and planning my New York trip.

What’s the best part of your job?

The travel? Ha. I really enjoy surprising people when they learn how I source my materials. I up-cycle a lot of materials. Unfortunately there can be a huge stigma attached to eco chic… in that it does not exist. I think that’s changing, though.

What’s the most challenging?

Learning how to switch off at the end of a very intense day.
