Looking for an outdoor film fix? Check out The Outdoor Cinema’s sweltering series of boutique film events taking place across London, Bristol, Kingston, Kent and Newcastle – all using epic, unusual spaces for immersive film adventures – until the end of September 2015.

The screenings span nightclubs, islands, stately homes and extravagant grounds. Case in point? Stunning Salomons Estate will host Kent’s summer extravaganza, while Hackney hangout Shapes / Turntables, revered for their canal-side shenanigans,  is the setting for the London screening. Accessible only by boat, picturesque Kingston island Ravens Ait is home for a run of riverside screenings, plus for those fans of impressive views, Bristol’s leg takes place in lush private grounds with an all-encompassing view of the Clifton Suspension bridge. Heading North-East to Newcastle, 17th Century Grade II listed building Kirkley Hall is the final location divulged in this first broadcast.

London – Shapes / Turntables / 18- 19 July
Kingston – Ravens Ait / 9-12 August
Bristol – Private Grounds / 12 -13 September
Kent – Salomons Estate / 14 – 16 August
Newcastle – Beamish Hall / 13 September
