All this after a tight first half in which neither side could break each other down, then led to the referee sin-binning Aussie skipper Michael Hooper and full-back Kurtley Beale to yellow cards and led to England going in at 6-0 up.
England soon topped up the scoreline with more controversial after Elliot Daly’s try, which appeared to show the ball from one angle looking out for the touchline, but with it impossible to call after various video replays the referee gave the try.
