A trailer for what is (probably) the last ever Harry Potter has been released.

The two-and-a-half minute short features a few clips from previous Harry Potter films and gives a glimpse of the action in Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final instalment in the hugely successful Harry Potter franchise.

In the eighth film Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint team up for one last time to take on the evil Lord Voldemort

The now mega-famous twenty-somethings first teamed up for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 2001 when they were still kids.

Ten years later and the magical ride is about to end.

But rabid Potter fans shouldn’t despair just yet. Creator of the Harry Potter books JK Rowling has launched a new project at an intriguing website “Pottermore”

Rowling's agents Rebecca Salt told Sky News Online: "It is a new project and not a new book.

"It's all top secret at the moment but it's an exciting new project which is not directly related to the film."

Potter Fans will have to wait to find out what is in store  as the interactive webpage, signed by author JK Rowling, simply reads "Coming Soon …"

Rowling's Harry Potter novels have sold more than 400 million copies worldwide making her the "world's first billionaire author".
