LaBeouf (Transformers, Nymphommaniac Vol 1 and Vol 2) was speaking on the US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live in which he decided to open up about his arrest and why he had been ejected from a performance of Cabaret, starring Brit actor Alan Cumming, in New York.
“You drink a lot of whisky during the World Cup… It makes it fun,” he said, suggesting that he had had one too many spritzers before going to the show.
“Alan Cumming walks past and all im thinking about is his leather pants and him winking at me.
I give him a slap on the ass because I think he deserves it. He’s seducing me, he’s the sexiest man I’ve ever seen,” LaBeouf continued.
The star, who is out publicising his new movie Fury co-starring Brad Pitt, was kicked out of the theatre performance earlier this year for being drunk and ausive and smoking in the theatre, before then spitting at a policeman’s shoe, too.
He then sent the night in the cells and woke to a cacophony of tabloid front pages.
“What a night!” LaBeouf laughed on the show. Indeed.
It is not though, the first time that LaBeouf has found himself in trouble with either the law or the media. He’s already become notorious for his drinking and associated brawling – he has been caught on many camera phones fighting, including a scuffle in a London bar this January.
His odd ball behaviour has also drawn attention, particularly when he appeared on the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of his movie Fury wearing a brown paper bag over his head with the words ‘I’m not famous anymore’ scrawled across it.
