Yep, sadly they’ve had to pull out because lead singer and guitarist Alex Trimble has been hospitalised.
But don’t stress, the replacement is awesome… FOALS! And they’re arguably a bigger band.
Two Door Cinema Club issued a statement which said: “We are devastated to have to cancel this show that we were so looking forward to. We can only apologise and hope for your understanding at this time. Love TDCC x”.
Foals topped the charts here last year with their album Holy Fire. They won’t close the main stage on day three of the July 24-27 festival, however – that honour now goes to Dallas Green’s City and Colour.
If you’re not happy, Splendour in the Grass will offer refunds if you brought a single day ticket for July 26. Go to Moshtix before 5pm on Monday July 21.
