While Mesut Ozil was scoring for Arsenal in their 2:0 victory over Napoli, Chelsea indemnified their embarrasing start in Basel with a glorious 4:0 win over Hungarian side, Steaua Bucharest.

Borussia Dortmund also picked up their first three points, as Australian goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak kept a clean sheet in the match against Olympique Marseille, which ended in a 3:0 win for the German club.

With Schalke beating Basel 1:0 thanks to a goal from 20-year-old Julian Draxler, the other German Team was also lucky and takes the lead in Group E, three points ahead of Chelsea.

Barcelona needed a second-half goal from Cesc Fabregas to claim a win over 10-man Cetic in Glasgow and is now at the top of Group H.

There are still some very exciting matches left to be played including Bayern Munich playing in Manchester City and Man United travelling to the Ukraine to take on Shakhtar Donetsk.
