Stunning forest and mountainside views on one of the longest zipwires in the world situated in the Lucan Alps in Southern Italy.
Unreal Zip 2000 – Sun City, South Africa
Claiming to be the fastest zip wire ride in the world, this ride is 2000 metres long, promising speeds of around 100 mph over rugged landscape in the popular tourist destination Sun City, just outside of Jo’burg.
Sky Trek – Arenal Volcano National Park, Costa Rica
Heading over the rainforest tree tops along nearly two miles of a collection of ten separate zip wires with an impressive view of the volcano and lake. Probably one of the most beautiful zip wiring experiences in the world.
ZipFlyer – Sarangkot, Nepal
Over a mile long with a 2000 ft drop, this is one of the tallest and steepest zip-slides in the world and featuring a magnetic braking system. Features sweeping views of Machapuchare mountain and the Seti river.
Ziprider – Icy Strait Point, Alaska
Though the 60mph ride may seem almost leisurely when compared with the others in this list which promise speeds of up to 100mph, the views over the stunning Alaskan forests, Port Frederick and surrounding islands makes this ride well worth the trip as you travel parallel to five other riders.
Fantasticable – Pena Aventura Park, Portugal
Again, this zip makes the claim of being the largest in the world, connecting the Lamelas and Bustelo mountains at heights of around 1500 metres (5045 ft)
Zip World – North Wales, UK
