To put this to the test, Jurys Inn is searching for twelve budding travel writers to test a city break and report back.
The twelve Jurys Inn City Break Bloggers will be invited, along with a friend or partner, to spend a weekend enjoying everything a UK city break has to offer before sharing their experiences on the Jurys Inn website.
Research has shown a break from our daily routine, even for a short time, can have a huge impact on overall happiness. Jurys Inn has teamed up with positive psychologist, Miriam Akhtar, a leading practitioner of positive psychology in the UK, to find out more about the effects a short break can have on our wellbeing.
“Leaving the everyday at home and engaging in something new is a way to greater wellbeing,” she says. “It gives us time to stop, relax and look around and to connect with our loved ones without the cluttered noise of our daily lives.”
Think you could manage a short break? Those hoping to snap up the twelve posts for Jurys Inn City Break Bloggers are asked to write in 200 words what their ideal UK city break would consist of.
Send your entries to marketing@jurysinns.com by April 30. Good luck!
