The sun came out for most of the afternoon at Southwark Sports & Bowls Club for the third annual TNT Barefoot Bowls Tournament…although it did hail too but we don’t talk about that!
Play began at 2.30pm with some strongly contested matches…
There were some tense moments…
And some not so tense moments…

A big thanks to Travel Talk who sponsored the day and donated the main prize, to Southwark Sports & Bowls Club for hosting, to Bodean’s for their delicious BBQ and to those who were brave enough to fight through the adverse weather conditions, get around the transport issues and avoid the bike race to make their way to Dulwich Common and take part.
