We’re always up for shouting about TNT so our new Ed, Carol, didn’t have to be asked twice to have her face blazoned across the National Theatre’s Tower yesterday.
If you want to follow in TNT’s footsteps and see your face splashed across the Southbank then you could be in luck. Aviva insurance has launched its new global ‘You are the Big Picture’ campaign, which will see Londoners given the chance be snapped by celebrity photographer Patric Shaw on London’s Southbank today before their image is projected into National Theatre’s tower.
The photos will also be projected onto other landmark buildings around the world including Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Paris’ financial district for one week from Monday 18th October.
Following Patrics appearance on Monday, roving snappers will be on hand on Friday 22nd and Sat 23rd Oct to take more photos of members of the public, which will then be projected onto National Theatre that same evening.
The projections are all part of Aviva’s You are the Big Picture campaign and for every photo the public uploads, Aviva will donate £1 to Save the Children as part of its Street to School charity programme, which aims to help up to 500,000 street children during the next five years.
