Farah, who is the current Olympic champion over 5000m and 10,000m is to take on the fastest man in the world in a charity race over 600m.

Distance runner Farah challenged sprinter Bolt to take him on in a race that would pit the Brit with the current holder of the Olympic 100m and 200m titles.

“Are you up for that?” Farah asked Bolt. “Come on, you’ve got to do it. Let’s get it on,” he added.

Bolt has not backed down from the challenge and has accepted, setting the distance at which the duo will compete as 600m

The two have been firm friends and famously posed doing each other’s celebratory pose at the last night of last summer’s Olympics.
