It’s being held in the prestigious Grand Ballroom at Australia House on the Strand; an ideal setting for this memorable occasion as they commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the commencement of the First World War.
Dress is black tie (uniforms, medals, and ballgowns are usually worn.) Guests will arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm Champagne reception with canapes, followed by a three-course meal with wine. Dinner will be followed by speeches and a Remembrance Service incorporating the Last Post and a two-minute silence.
Afterwards, there’ll be an auction and music from a Regimental Swing Band.
