The pair carried the eight-month-old Prince off the plane in a wet and windy Wellington – his first official tour.
The Duchess wore a red coat with gold buttons and a red pillbox hat.
New Zealand’s Prime Minister John Key was excited at their arrival, tweeting: “The Royals have landed in Wellington. Let’s make them very welcome, New Zealand.”
The tour which has been anticipated for months ends in Canberra on April 25.
