What’s your show about?
The time I tried to get home after a gig and had blood on my shirt – I injured myself in a disgusting fashion.

It has car-jacking ferrets in it…
Mother has a habit of “getting involved” even if that means trapping a vicious animal in her
car and calling me to rescue her. It’s more my parents: Dad pissed in a field and the cows tried to stampede him out of it, but he’s old and he couldn’t stop peeing as they ran towards him.

What’s the oddest heckle you’ve had?
“You need to get laid.” If you’ve heard my stories, you know this is extremely odd.

What was your first gig?
Six minutes in New Zealand, about family. I was so nervous it was just
a blinding light and my heartbeat.
It went well, in that I didn’t faint.

How did you celebrate winning the best Newcomer Chortle Award 2011?
I spent a week grinning and skipping!
