It has been a long time coming but Kermit, Miss Piggy and co have finally got their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
After nabbing the best original song award at this year’s Oscars, and seeing their latest movie, which chronicles their tougher times of late, riding high, the Muppets are back.
So there could be no better time to honour them with their own star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
Fans turned out in their droves to see the 2466th star awarded to the fury ones.
“Hi everyone, thank you for coming,” Kermit said. I want to say on behalf of the Muppets that we are just really happy to be here on Hollywood Boulevard joining some of the greatest names in showbiz.”
The Muppets were joined for the ceremony by Lisa and Brian Henson, the daughter and son of Muppet creator Jim Henson.
