Video: Robert Pattinson braves first interview since Kristen Stewart affair revealed

Appearing on the US show The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart joked that the two were having girls night chat, and brought out a couple of tubs of ice cream, jokingly suggesting the two could ‘talk’. 



He opened up his interview by asking the Hollywood heartthrob “So what you been up to?”, cheekily hiding his intent to quiz the Twilight actor on the tabloid events that have surrounded his life of late. 



Pattinson, though, seemed uncomfortable throughout the interview as he squirmed in his chair and seemed unsure how to answer Stewart’s leading questions. 



“I literally don’t know how to approach this now,” he said at one point. 



“I didn’t hire a publicist and every awkward interview, most actors have things scripted. I’m going to hire a publicist.”
