You probably think that a Flamenco Festival festival is a bit high-end – probably, your interest in dance maxes out with your wholehearted performance of the Funky Cowboy after too many Jager shots at the Christmas party.
But if you take a leap of faith and actually go along to see some flamenco – it’s Spanish gypsy music that first became popular in Seville – you might be surprised by how much you enjoy it. Forget the hoity-toity ballet – flamenco is unhinged and effervescent. And you’re bound to pick up some incredible moves.
