Londoner’s with an eye for a great shot have been snapping away across the capital, capturing ‘London by Bike’ for a chance to be shortlisted in a high profile photography competition.

Now with over 600 entries the competition is hotting up and budding photographers still have a couple of days left to enter. ‘London by Bike’, supported by Barclays, is looking to find professional and amateur snappers that can capture the adventure, inspiration and beauty of cycling in the city.

The winning entries will receive a deluxe London cycling weekend prize including £1,500 of cycling equipment, sumptuous 5* hotel stay and a visit to Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. In addition the two top snappers will get the chance for their iconic shots to be viewed by thousands this summer across 300 Barclays branches in the city and South East.

The competition will be judged by an expert panel, including innovative photographer Nick Turpin who spearheaded the street photography movement in the UK. Entrants should use their camera to "really elevate everyday cycling in London into something special.”
