Last Tuesday Society Halloween Ball, 27 October, From 10pm, Adam Street, Embankment Tube, £20-£25 or £30 with dance lessons included.
Following up last year’s success this party promises sophisticated elegance, divine decadence and debauched fun in the exclusive Adam Street club. Party masks are obligatory but clothes are optional.

Pyjama Party at Prince Charles Cinema, 6 October, 9pm, Just off Leicester Square, £20-£25
Put on your PJ and get in Halloween mood with an all night movie marathon. Apart from six classic horror movies you can walk in the pyjama parade, tell your best ghost stories to the audience or play board games.
The Horror! The Horror! At Wiltons Music Hall, 24 October – 07 November, 7.30pm and 9.30pm, Wilton’s Music Hall, near Aldgate East Tube, £17.50
Theatre of the Damned invites you to an evening of murder, madness and mayhem. In the play, set in 1904, the old music hall is refurbished at the same time as comedians try out vicious new material and the magician pulls something pretty nasty out of his hat.

Watch Professor Mervyn Heard showcase his 19th century contraption with waltzing skeletons and bleeding nuns for a gothic-loving crowd.
Belle Epoque Club Night, 27 October, 8pm-2am, Village Underground next to Shoreditch High Street Overground, £20.
Get on an absinthe-fuelled journey back to bohemian Paris in the end of the 19th century when artists, writers and philosophers mixed with showgirls for drinking and dancing. Take part in the art that will be created throughout the evening.

Zombie Walk London, 29 October, 2pm, Waxy O’Connors between Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square, free
After the many thirsty zombies have dragged themselves out of the Rupert Street pub the atmosphere will be far from dead. You stop by at different pubs in the area to improve your zombie walk with alcohol and turn back to Waxy O’Connors where the party’s starting.

Jump on this black horror Routemaster with a gothic design and hear stories about London’s sinister side, delivered by actors, comedians and cabaret performers.
