Ooh, that's gotta hurt. Hayden Ballantyne took one for the team at a recent AFL game Down Under.

We all enjoy a comedy moment of misfortune - though this does look particularly crippling blow for the Australian Football League player.

Fremantle Dockers player Ballantyne was getting stuck into the action during a game against GWS Giants when a high flying ball landed rather painfully.

As Homer Simpson once said "But...the ball! His groin! Ah ha! It works on so many levels!"

Described as a "feisty" player by the Austrlian Herald Sun, Ballantyne has been suspended twice this year for his behaviour during matches.

"Sometimes I make silly decisions, but hopefully, most of the time, I make good decisions and I'll do my best not to make those silly decisions." he said.
