Nigerian airline Dana Air has been grounded by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority after one of its planes crashed into a densely populated area north of Lagos, killing all 153 people on board.

According to reports, a Dana Air plane made an emergency landing in early May after a “loss of hydraulic pressure”, although it’s not known whether this was the same craft that crashed. A spokesman told the BBC: “Their operational licence has been suspended until we carry out their recertification.”
