For those for whom a Sunday afternoon involves hurling themselves towards the ground with but a stretch of elastic between them and face-planting into the ground – East London and new video game Borderlands 2, has something for you on Sunday.
A bungee crane will be coming to Shoreditch on Sunday from 10am-4pm offering free bungee jumps for the brave (or foolish?).
The stunt is to launch the UK release of video game Borderlands 2, which has more than its own fair share of death-defying activities and terror.
So if you’re game for it, and for winning a copy of the game into the bargain, get yourself down to Ely’s Yard this Sunday morning.
UK PR Manager 2K Games Ben Lawrence said, “We want to provide an afternoon of extreme fun and discover just how psycho Borderlands 2 fans can get. A bungee jump is the perfect way to truly test your nerves and we’re excited to bring the insane pleasure of the game into the real world!”
