This summer was the wettest ever, (actually it was the second wettest on record, but it sure felt like the wettest for us!). Salvation is at hand though as temperatures this weekend are set to soar with the allure of an Indian summer-styled final bow.
Much as the temperatures hit uncharacteristic highs last September, even stretching into October, this weekend is set to enjoy some warm weather, as temperatures of 28c on Sunday are expected to bathe the capital.
So get the sunblock out, grab your sunglasses and enjoy summer’s last hoorah. By this time next week it could all be a very distant, drab, grey and rain-soaked memory.
