The Prime Minister’s former director of communications Andy Coulson, and six others, will face charges of phone hacking at Southwark Crown Court on September 26.
Former News of the World journalist Coulson, along with five other NoW journos and private investigator Glenn Mulcaire, appeared at a hearing this morning at Westminster magistrates court.
The five other journalists present for the hearing were: Ian Edmondson, former assistant editor (news); Stuart Kuttner, former managing editor of the News of the World; Neville Thurbeck, former chief reporter; Greg Miskiw, a former news editor; and
James Weatherup, former news editor.
The seven have all been bailed, the conditions stipulating that they do not contact any of their co-accused.
