Transformers star Shia LaBeof got in to a fight in a south London pub when a student grabbed his cap and refused to give it back.
LaBeouf, who starred alongside Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was in town filming for his latest movie, Nymphomaniac, when he decided to drop into the Hobgoblin pub in New Cross with his British co-star Mia Goth.
He was happy having a few drinks and posing for photos with fans when the mood turned after one particular imbiber grabbed LaBeouf’s cap, and refused to give it back.
“He did get a bit frustrated and there was a bit of a scuffle,” landlord Mark Harris told The Sun.
A witness of the scuffle added to the newspaper: “No one could believe that a well-known Hollywood star had rocked up at a bar in dingy SE14.
“The scrap started when this guy took his hat. I think he was just joking, but Shia didn’t like it.
“It was handbags really. But it shows that even Hollywood stars can’t avoid grief down this way.”
