Tom Hanks forgot where he was momentarily on Good Morning America today when he dropped the F-bomb doing the British accent of his new movie character.
Hanks was doing the voice of Dr Henry Goose from Cloud Atlas, which will be released in the UK in February.
Host Elizabeth Vargas prompted him to bung on his accent from the film. Hanks warned it’s ‘mostly swear words’.
In saying that it becomes clear very quickly that Hanks didn't mean to include a sneaky little 'fuck' in his ragged-accented muttering.
Vargas jumped in with immediate apologies before Hanks chimed in with his own.
'Man, oh man, I'm sorry,’ he said. ‘I have never done that before.
'I want to apologise to the kids in America watching right now.
'And let me say the next time I'm on the show there will be a seven-second delay.’
