Dwain Chambers set to compete in the London Olympics after ban U-turn

The Daily Mail has claimed that the British Olympic Association has privately conceded that it will not be able to prevent the sprinter, who tested positive for using performance enhancing substances in 2003 and admitted to using them on several occasions, from competing. 



A ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, possibly delivered early next week, could find in the favour of the disgraced sprinter, who will subsequently be allowed to compete. 



Chambers served a two-year ban from competing, and a lifetime ban from the Olympics was also part of his punishment. However, this new ruling looks set to overturn this penalty.
