Yes, their new suggestion for getting healthy is by being vertically challenged with their new Circus Circuits class.

The session is based on traditional circuits (fast-paced resistance and aerobics training exercises repeated over and over), but with a circus-esque slant.

You’ll be working your muscles and honing that bod, not with weights, squats and push ups, but using a trapeze, stilts, ropes
and hoops.

And what are the benefits of risking life and limb like that? All-over body conditionaing and improved core strength, with the added ingredient of adrenaline to spur you on with your workout. And for all the clumsy kids out there – it also teaches you brilliant balance.

Classes are at Farringdon Gym Box on Monday and Tuesday at 7pm. You might get so darn good at it, you can run off and join the circus. Well, maybe.
