A suspected grenade exploded near to players during a match I the Asian Champions League.
Iranian team Sepahan and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia were midway through their quarter-final match when an object was thrown on the pitch.
A Sepahan player grabbed the object and threw it to the side of the pitch where it promptly exploded. Seconds difference and he could have lost a hand of been even more seriously injured.
The object exploded in brief burst of fire and smoke, and is reported to have been either a grenade or a firecracker.
