The temperature is rising in the UK, but an umbrella maybe needed for Jubilee weekend.

Across Britain, the temperatures will rise to the mid twenties by Wednesday.  The east coast will remain cooler, but the trending temperatures will warm northern England and Scotland.

Despite a few showers in the west, this new rise in mercury could make Britain even hotter than the Mediterranean.

The change is due to a high pressure system blocking low pressure and Arctic air which remained when spring’s warm Atlantic jet stream winds crossed over the south.
