Concerned German soldiers have reported to army doctors that they are starting to grow breasts on their left sides due to slapping rifles against their chests during drills.
Over 75 percent of the super-tough Wachbataillon guard have reported being affected by a condition called one-sided gynecomastia, a stimulation of the mammary glands.
Bundeswehr's elite unit appear to be growing boobs and officials have suggested that slapping heavy rifles against themselves during drills may have to change.
"There is a very significant link between the activity in the guard battalion and the development of the breast on the left side." Professor Bjorn Krapohl told the German Herald, according to International Business Times.
"They need to change the way they drill. The constant slamming of the rifles against the left hand side of the chest is clearly a significant factor."
