Adelaide police say the 20-year-old was arrested on Thursday night and charged with fabrication of evidence.
It was alleged the man had produced a fake wedding invitation to have his bail on other matters varied to allow him to travel interstate.
Police say the man's real intention was to travel to the bikie gathering.
He was refused police bail on the evidence charge and remanded in custody to appear in the Holden Hill Magistrates Court on Friday.
