The record attempt took place at AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand at Auckland Bridge on Tuesday/Wednesday and has more than doubled the previous record set by Aussie Beau Retallick back in 2014.

Heard jumped 430 times in just 24-hours smashing his personal target of 200 jumps (which he managed in just 12 hours!) In fact, Heard had broken the previous record in just 4 1/2 hours – pretty impressive…

The record attempt was to raise money and awareness for the Mental Health Foundation – raising more than $7,000 by 3pm on Wednesday.

On breaking the record Heard said “It was quite emotional for me, I had a little cry, I’ve got my wife here and my best friend and work mates, a very humbling experience.”

“We’ve all had someone who’s been affected my mental health at some stage – so I’m just encouraging people to talk to people, have a chat and say that you’re not a weirdo, you don’t have a label written across your forehead.”
