Amy Winehouse stopped to down a shot of Vodka at a cornershop while on her way to rehab.
The troubled singer drank a miniature Smirnoff at the counter of Meadway Food and Wine in Southgate before she checked into The Priory for treatment.
An onlooker told The Sun: “She seemed out of it. She was stumbling about, slurring her words.
“I was shocked to see her buy vodka so early in the day, and even more shocked to see her knock it straight back.”
Moments before, the disheveled star has burst into a hair salon to use the toilet at 12.30pm on Wednesday. Clients heard Amy vomiting.
Before walking out, she told hairdressers: “I just puked all over your bathroom.”
One customer said: “I felt really sorry for the staff. I think they were too scared to say anything.”
Amy’s spokesman told The Sun that Amy didn’t throw up in the salon and that her comment was a joke.
“Amy’s embarked on treatment at The Priory,” he said.
