Felicity Jackson was fired from The Apprentice last night after her team made a £247 loss on a task which required them to sell beauty treatments to the public.
24-year-old Jackson was the first woman to be fired by Lord Alan Sugar on this season’s Apprentice but said she felt she deserved his wrath.
“I was project manager and the task was awful, it went really badly. I think when it goes that badly you do have to bear some responsibility on the project manager’s shoulders and unfortunately that was me,” Jackson said.
The Apprentice teams were set the task of choosing two beauty treatments, then selling them to shoppers in Birmingham.
Jackson’s team – Team Venture – failed to secure a spray tan treatment and so had to settle for selling hair accessories and a hot shell massage treatment. The team did not make a success of selling their products.
However, Jackson claimed that fellow contestants Ellie Reed and Natasha Scribbins stabbed her in the back when it came to the boardroom showdown.
“I do stand by saying that I was stabbed in the back, but at the end of the day it’s a competition and everyone was in there to save themselves. If you’re not prepared to fight to stay there then the show isn’t right for you.”
The three parted ways without shaking hands.
