Lady Gaga has revealed she is planning to release a Christmas album of jazz covers, including Nat King Cole’s single Orange Coloured Sky.
In a new interview with Stephen Fry, to be published in the Financial Times this Saturday, Lady Gaga says she is already planning the Christmas album release.
“I thought it would be really sweet to do a Christmas release of Gaga and the jazz standards. I really want to do it. I’ve spoken to my manager,” said Lady G.
Lady Gaga has previously recorded a cover of Christmas classic, Deck The Halls, titled Christmas Tree, which could feature on her festive record.
The Judas singer has recently taken to covering Nat King Cole’s single Orange Coloured Sky during her live sets and that too could feature on the Christmas offering.
Meanwhile, Gaga performed her new single The Edge Of Glory on the American Idol finale last night, singing from the top of a fake mountain dressed in a goddess-like beaded headdress.
Gaga’s Born This Way album is currently outselling the rest of the UK’s top 30 albums put together.
